I created grid systems using primary, secondary, and tertiary members. Each grid system was then transformed several times and study models were created to explore how the grids can take on three dimensional forms.
The final model was created using a simple right triangle with three tertiary members on one corner. I was captivated by the idea of using a module and repeating it to create a completely different form. From the plan view, it seems like the two pieces making up the right angle are the primary members, the hypotenuse is the secondary member, and the three additional pieces are tertiary. In actuality, one of the 'primary' members is thinner than the other creating a unique gap in the side view.
